Infraction?

I got an infraction for saying something that ~didn't contribute~ (something like ily to something funny someone said) and it says it expires june 8? Does that mean I can't earn tbt until then? I didn't realize what I did was against the rules (I guess I thought on this forum you could say what you want).

It said warning but it took away all my tbt and now I have an infraction page with a warning. But yeah I guess I know now haha

Yeah, you get 20TBT taken off you with each warning / infraction

I don't believe you lose the ability to earn TBT unless it's like a major infraction or warning for shtposting purposely to farm TBT.

As Nightmares said, each one you get makes you lose 20 TBT (although I've received one and didn't lose any).

I just said that since I remember tons of threads in TBT HQ got closed because they discussed bans/infractions

I think it's fine though as long as it's your own and not others, I just wasn't sure

yeah when you get infractions / warnings they take an amount fo tbt away from you as punishment. and if you don't have enough tbt at that time, say they take 40 but you only have 20? you're now -20 and all the tbt you earn from posts will go to that -20 owed until you break even. been there, i was like -40 in the hole bc i had no bells in my pocket at the time.

-40 bells is nothing that a little s***posting can't fix.

When you break a rule, you get a warning or infraction. Infractions are for more minor circumstances, such as lack of post quality, and will take away 20 bells. Warnings are for more major things, like repeated infractions and alternate accounts, to name a few. If you continue to get infractions and/or warnings, you will be banned. What you did will determine the legnth of the ban.
-A person with 41 infractions/warnings that has been banned at least 6 times

I seriously think getting a warning or an infraction for posting a 1 word comment is really ridiculous. Even posting something that doesn't contribute to the topic on hand, no one should have to suffer a yellow ticket for the rest of their lives just because they forgot about such a minor rule.

Um me? I'm sure a lot of people think that getting a yellow ticket for simply saying "lol, omg cool" and getting banned for it is silly. Do you not think so?

Nope. I think it's silly in regards to reaction images 'cause those can actually be hilarious but one-word replies never add to anything.
