I have four infractions now of rude behaviour, insulting other members and post quality. Does anyone how much infractions and warnings do you need to get banned? And is it a permanent ban?

Sometimes it's zero.

but you should've been banned by now tbh you were super rude

Apart from the number of infractions/warnings you receive, I believe that it also very case-by-case dependent, i.e., whether a person gets banned or not probably depends in part on the severity of the incidents which led up to the infractions/warnings and how spaced out they are.

It would seem that after a few typical infractions/warnings you'll get banned only temporarily as implied on The Bell Tree Rules and Guidelines thread. If more infractions/warnings come afterwards, I would guess you'd get a longer ban or perhaps a permanent ban.

I have three infractions for post quality (service short replies lol) and one for rude behaviour because this girl reported me for trying to help her with the Easter Egg Hunt oops.
I hope she's happy with her 10TBT

I have 1 infraction due to post quality, but I have become a good noodle.

I have 2 infractions for post quality. (I always forget about that rule)

I really am hoping during my time here I don't get banned.

I don't think there's a set number of infractions and warnings before you get banned. It's a case by case basis. But, having said that, I think it takes A LOT to be banned permanently. I've seen people come back time and time again.

When I got my first warning for post quality, I thought i was a horrible person and the worst member ever. I got the notification via email and was too scared to look at the actual private message. I didn't touch my inbox for like a month. Eventually I just deleted everything.

Luckily I haven't gotten any warnings since then.

tbt staff hates me and my friends so we constantly get warnings but unless u keep pissing them off in a single period or do something rly bad you generally wont get banned :lemon:

Omfg me too

It really depends on what kind of an infraction you get, so it's essentially determined on a case-by-case basis. If you've received an infraction for your post quality, it doesn't take a genius to figure you need to keep watch on what you're posting.

You know what the best part is about making posts on the internet? You can start making a post, finish typing it, review it, go make a sandwich, come back and review it again before posting. This way you can actually take note of what you're about to say, and not screw up.

I got one once for post quality, and another for rude behaviour (I can't remember if that's just a warning or not thought)
But it's like if you beat someone up or say something horrible to someone in real life; you have to face the consequences. The anonymity of the internet is no different.

This is good advice ^

I always quickly read over every post I make, making sure no spelling/grammatical errs, nothing that might be seen as offensive, and nothing that might get me reported. In 8 days, I'll have been on here for one year, and so far I've received no reports or anything; I'm definitely a good noodle! :p

But as far as being banned, it takes A LOT to get kicked off here. Someone I knew was making an alt. account for farming TBT bells and to stay private, and I ended up helping them because I felt bad about it; I told a mod immediately after so I wouldn't get in trouble, and nothing bad happened to me in then end. Nothing bad happened to him either! So really, just because you have a couple reports, as long as you don't get like 20 in one day you'll be fine ;)
