Installed HHP last night, new content found…

So logged on today, got new content found, do you want to open game or update software message. I clicked open game as wanted to make sure I’d saved and quit. Which I had, but when I closed software and tried to reopen, I‘m no longer getting the prompt about installing new content. Did it do it automatically when I closed the software? And would that have been referring to HHP or something else? Please and thanks for any help, hope this makes sense!!

It may have installed automatically. When you launch the game, what version is listed? If you have the free update, it should say 2.0.0 (or something similar). My game also shows a little house icon next to the version number, which might be for the HHP paid DLC (though if you’ve never played HHP and it has installed, you should get a call and cutscene from Tom Nook on startup, so you’ll know it’s unlocked).

I purchased DLC couple days prior the release. Once I paid for this - something has been downloaded and istalled. In the day of release 5th Nov, as @RETSAMDET said already next to the version number you can spot small icon - this is only indication of DLC.
