Inventory Discard Button

Quick question about the inventory discard button: do you get a prompt first asking if you'd like to discard a feature/collectible, or does it happen automatically? My 'save' button is really close to the 'discard' button on my Watering Can (especially on mobile) and I want to make sure I don't toss it by mistake.

well i accidentally discarded a tasty cake once on my phone. i couldn't tell if i did clicked once or not.
most likely yes in a way

Just tested it on my laptop and I did get a popup saying "are you sure you wish to discard this item?"

Update: same thing on mobile!
