Inviting Villagers from Happy Home

Hi everyone,

i was wondering if anyone knew, once I settle someone in their vacation home, after can I invite them back to my island?

OR

let’s say I make Olivia’s dream vacation home and she lives there. When I got villager hunting with NMT to fill up an empty plot on my main island … does it mean I’ll never see her on a deserted island

No you can't invite someone from the DLC to live on your island

I dont believe it should affect you inviting them to your island but I've not tested and I have found no data mined info to say so

Thanks I hope it doesn’t affect your chances of finding them on a deserted island … but then imagine; you’d have them in two places with different friendship levels towards you

I have Sasha's house in HHP and had no problem visiting him to my campsite.

Asked me for an item like all villagers.

Oh that sounds promising! Did you get Sasha with an amiibo though I wonder if amiibos work differently than deserted mystery islands

Let me try to explain this. In order to invite villagers from your island to HHP you need to have your villagers at a decent friendship to give them gifts. There are Souivner Cookies inside Lottie's office you can buy that is on the far left when you go inside. Buy those cookies with the Poki Currency and then return to the island and talk to your villager. Give them the Souvenir cookie and then they will be interested and thats how you get them to your island. Its important to note that when your villager is at HPP they will still remain on your island despite being already being there at HPP (its confusing I know).

Also no there is no way to invite them from HPP to your island. You will have to rely on Nook Mile islands for that if you have an empty plot.

Was hoping maybe it'd be easier to open up plots by sending current villagers to the archipelago, but guess it doesn't work like that. Saved me some time tonight. Now I regret not letting my villager move out when they asked since I can't go villager hunting until someone else asks to move.

HHP is an optional dlc that you can choose to play or not. Some people haven’t bought it at all because it’s really a totally separate game. The only crossover between the two is inviting your friends from your island to the archipelago by giving souvenirs. So no, it won’t affect anything.

yes I used Sasha's amiibo for both campsite and HHP house
