Is Anyone Else Having This Problem?

I have obtained every single Bunny Day recipe you can get from Balloons....except for the Bunny Day Arch. Even though I haven't gotten the recipe yet, the only thing that Bunny Day balloons yield is Sky Eggs. Is anyone else having this problem where they can't get the last recipe they need? I know two recipes are exclusive to Zipper and I won't get them without the Arch recipe...

Yep, me too. I have like 6 duplicate DIY already. And missing a few DIY I believe. Getting A LOT of sky eggs.

According to a video by Mayor Mori if you craft all of the following items: Wallpaper, flooring, rug, bed, lamp, vanity, wardrobe, table, stool, wall clock, merry balloons, festive balloons, wreath, glowy garland, fence, arch, crown and bag you can get the recipe for the Egg Toy. If you craft that, you'll get the recipe for the wand.

So his video suggests you need the arch to get Zipper to give you recipes when he returns on April 12. And because Arch is the only recipe I'm missing, balloons are no longer giving me recipes...

You cannot get the arch by shooting down balloons. Only when you have all the other recipes on the 12th Zipper will give that one to you. When you craft it right away you get awarded with even more stuff.

So Mayor Mori lied in his video. His video says to get recipes from Zipper on the 12th, you need to craft 18 items. If he gives you the Arch on the 12, then you have to craft 17 items. I took down a complete list of all 40 Bunny Day recipes so for a total of 18 to be crafted, the Arch HAS to be included in the recipes you craft before the 12th.

I don't think you have to craft them before the 12th. The event is supposed to spawn the recipes even more on the 12th to make it easier to try to collect them all. I think you just have to collect and craft them before the event ends at the end of the day on the 12th.

For me it's more of "I'm almost to everything crafted! Let's get this over with now so I can chill until the 12th." Even if I have a chance to shoot it down on the 12th, since that's the last recipe I need to trigger Zipper giving me the Toy and Wand on the 12th, I may as well just try to do it now.

I also don't know the Youtuber you are talking about... but technically he wasn't wrong. You need to craft all of the furniture bevore you can make the toy. It doesn't matter whether you craft the other eleven pieces bevor the 12th or on the date itself. The recipe for the arch you will get on the 12th but unless you won't craft it, you won't get the toy.
