Is Beau a popular villager?

He is currently camping in my town and wants to move in I don't know if I like him very much so I think I'm going to say no. Just curious c:

He's very popular. I don't know if you are familiar with the tier list, but Beau is tier 1 Which basically means that a ton of people want him. I bet someone would be willing to buy him from you for lots of bells, or trade him for one of your dreamies.

Beau's been one of the most popular villagers pretty much since New Leaf was released.He's currently #6 in Tier 1 of the Villager Popularity thingy.

Beau is very popular indeed. I would have sold him when I had him but I gave him to my best friend instead because she loved him so

Quite easy to sell or trade him really! Get him to move in, and befriend the hell out of him until he eventually pings to move. When he's in boxes you can give him (sell/trade) to anyone you'd like by inviting them into your town, they'll talk to Beau and then he'll move in if the player wishes it!

He's tier 1 so you could get some serious TBT for him.

When he's in boxes you can give him (sell/trade) to anyone you'd like by inviting them into your town, they'll talk to Beau and then he'll move in if the player wishes it!

Maybe he'll grow on you

If you want to trade him, you'll have to wait until he pings you and asks to move out. Since he's your 10th villager, this will be difficult as the most recent move-in will ask to leave a lot less frequently than those who have been in your town longer. It looks like you have other villagers you want to leave, so if one of them goes first and someone new moves in, it should be much easier to move Beau out.

Once he pings you, you can tell him to leave or stay. If you tell him to leave it's possible he will change his mind and stay against your wishes. If you suspect he has plans to move, talk to all your other villagers - if one of them says Beau is going to leave, don't talk to Beau. That way he can't change his mind. Once you know for sure he is moving, head over to the Villager Trading Plaza and you can invite someone to your town to adopt him when he's in boxes

Thx! I'm really wanting Canberra OR Benedict to move out but they have been in my town the longest and don't seem like they're going anywhere anytime soon :-( I don't mind keeping Beau for a little bit, but will definitely follow everyone's advice when he does ping me

I don't know how much truth there is to this, but I've heard that if you are super friendly to them - giving them perfect fruit, doing pretty much everything they ask you for, they'll move out faster (and give your their picture too). Should probably get someone else to verify this though ?\_(ツ)_/?

I've heard that as well! I've been befriending both of them lately and talking their ears off to the point where they need space from me lol. I run all of their little errands. I haven't gifted them anything but I could try that. everything about benedict annoys me and it pains me to talk to him. I used to think ignoring him would make him move out but that did not work. I was able to get another villager to move out a few months ago by placing trees infront of their home. not sure if that was pure luck or if it actually works hehe c:

The tree thing was probably luck - but, even if it won't encourage them to move, it might make you feel better to surround their house with pitfalls and watch them suffer hehe

He's very popular but of course it depends who is on the trading plaza at the time you try and sell him, you could normally get at least 100tbt or 10mil igb. If you're anything like me though you'll end up loving him. I had to let him go in the end since I just love too many lazys and needed some other types. He is one of the most handsome villagers, in my opinion. Good luck deciding what to do!

aahh this may be an unpopular opinion but I don't find him very cute/handsome? he's just "okay" to me which is why I was surprised he was tier 1. oh well I'll befriend him bc he is a villager of mine now :3

I've had Beau for some time, didn't know he was considered a tier 1 villager. Wouldn't matter to me what tier he is I think he's adorable and happy he's living in my town.
