My Wii has been updating itself for over two hours, stuck at the same spot....just to get the News Channel.

How good really is the News Channel, anyway? I think I'm gonna' un-plug/turn off the Wii for that Update to stop if it isnt even that good.. >_<

Wow.... It took me like a few minutes. Yea unplug it. It could go faster if you plug it back in.

Do you have dial up or something?

But the news channel IMO is beyond cool.

If it freezes don't unplug it... just hold the power button. Turn off other wireless stuff while its downloading... it should go faster.

and odd, on my step brother's it took an hour an a half, and they have highspeed. >_>

It toke about 10-15 minutes for me.

youi probably shouldn't do that, its a firmware update meaning its dealing with your motherboard, you could brick your wii if you turn it off during the update.

I know you really aren't supposed to, but I really had nothing else I could do. It was frozen >_> Nothing happened though thankfully when I turned it off..
