is it normal to get pete three times straight?

i've gotten Pete the mailman three days straight and it's really annoying. is this normal to anyone else?

Why is it annoying? Does he actually talk to you? Usually when I see him he's just walking around not bothering anyone lol.

I've gotten him two days in a row before, and I'm with you! Pete himself is not annoying, I'd just rather have Gracie at the moment Poor Pete... he's just not interesting! I've only had one special visitor this week, actually... Katrina once, then Pete the other days.

I've had Pete and Gulliver together before, and possibly had them with Katrina, Redd, Sahara, and Gracie as well.
You'll only see him during the mail delivery times, but if you have no other special characters, your police officer will talk about Pete all day.

yeah i've only gotten gracie once this week and the rest all pete :/ it can definitely get a little frustrating

Pete comes at 9 AM and 5 PM

He will also show up randomly if your mailbox is full to tell you to empty it

He only stays for about 20-30 minutes

I've gotten him three days in a row as well. I usually get him two times per week on average, but it's usually scattered. I've had Pete once this week along with Katrina, Saharah, and Redd, so I guess I'm due for another visit by him tomorrow.

But, yeah, I agree with you. It's frustrating when you'd rather have the other special characters. If he had some more varied dialogue, I honestly wouldn't mind as much. I'd like it if he noticed that you always talked to him even though he's just a mail pelican and you're the busy mayor and all that and appreciated that fact. Or if he eventually gave you some nice items or something like that. Or maybe we could actually put those delivery tasks to good use and have him ask you to help him with the mail since he's behind schedule or something like that.

Pete doesn't prevent other special characters from appearing. For example, I've seen Pete and Katrina today.

Also whenever Pete's in town all my villagers do is say 'Hey, Pete's in town! blablbala' So annoying

If you want him to leave, just save and quit. But if it's around 9 am or 5 pm, he won't disappear
