Splatoon Is it possible for OG splatoon 2 music to return in splatoon 3?

Asking this because you get to hear the splatoon 2 og soundtrack in the lobby in splatoon 3. Will there be a likely chance for the music to return and not be a remix? Has there been any leaks of it returning or rumors? I don't know if it's there kind of thing to do without changing the music. Splatoon 2 did get more soundtrack added in because of Octo Expansion.

We don’t know for sure but it’s pretty unlikely imo. Splatoon 1 songs didn’t return for battles in Splatoon 2 so I don’t see it happening with 3 either. We are lucky to have gotten the remix of Splattack in 3.

We will definitely get new songs in updates but it’s not likely to be old ones. The theme of Splatoon is what’s trendy and “fresh” now so older songs don’t really fit that unfortunately.

I’m just pleasantly surprised that songs from 1 and 2 will sometimes play in the lobby. Takes me back whenever I hear them.
