Nope. I live in California, it's super cold, but we aren't having any rain, any even when it does rain, it warms up too much to snow and only our mountains get it. I'm hoping we get a good amount this winter because I want to head up to the mountain and play in it, since I haven't had the chance to in YEARS now.
last week was when the heap of snow came in! early this week it rained a lot and it almost all melted and turned into slush...but seems like it snowed a bit ago because outside my window is a fresh blanket of snow
Yess! Snow -> snow -> flurries -> freezing rain -> freezing rain. Forecast for the next while . At least temps aren't too bad (-~11 Celsius). Right now there are these really light blowing flurries covering everything in layers of fluffy snow. It's kind of the best.
Today won't be receiving snow, but tomorrow evening and night certainly will with about 10 to 15 cm of white abomination, thus complicating the travel that one of my relatives planned.
There's apparently going to have some flurries on December 25th, as well of a potential snowstorm around New Year's Eve. Life as an almost-Maritimes guy feels pretty much like a war of attrition.
It snowed pretty heavily late last week, but it all melted by about Monday this week because temperatures rose. It hasn't snowed since, but there is supposed to be some snow on Sunday. We'll have to see whether it actually happens or not.
