Is it worth it?

Hey! I want this game so badly but its $40 where I am. I could get it used and I MAY get it used but I would prefer NOT used. Is this game really worth it?

I think it's worth it, but just because I do doesn't mean that you will. You might want to check out the HHD FAQ thread stickied up top of this forum--at the very bottom of the first post, there are links to some video playthroughs. I suggest watching a couple, which might help you decide whether it's something you'll enjoy, and will help you make an informed decision about whether to get it or not.

It depends.

If you are a person who really enjoys designing homes, then this game is perfect for you. You have the opportunity to build and create so many homes and buildings in this game. There is also so much more furniture and home design options in this game than in a regular game of Animal Crossing.

If you aren't big on home decor and you would prefer to catch bugs, fish and socialize with the villagers, I wouldn't get the game. Since this is a spin off, you can't catch bugs, fish, or make friends with the villagers in a way you could before. You are limited to just home design.
