So I've only gotten one villager and its that first one (who I hated, THANKS NINTENDO). Do they just not spawn if you have 10 villagers?

And can you force villagers out with a campsite villager?

Kind of similar to New Leaf villagers don't often come to the campsite unfortunately, and since this game has autosave we can't use the campsite reset trick anymore..

i haven’t gotten any campsite visitors since the first one, either - maybe it’s like it was in new leaf and it’s not an everyday thing

So far I believe u only get a camper if you have an empty plot. For the most part it's used for scanning in amiibo.

You can actually still get a campsite visitor even if you have 10 villagers. While I was time traveling to move my 10th villager out, Isabelle told me that I had a visitor at the campsite. I was pretty surprised since I was TTing for a while but I can happen, just really rare. On another note, I read from someone that non-amiibo visitors can still kick out a villager if you ask them to move in. It's a great update but not 100% if it truly works

I also wanted to ask this, I think its just extremely rare, I have played over 300 in game days and have seen a total of.... 2 villagers

I’ve only gotten 2 villagers in my campsite and i’ve TTed a lot.

I had Tex which is the one from the tutorial and Octavian once, I have TT but no more than April 2nd

I haven't gotten a single villager in the campsite since the one you have to move in. I also have 10 villagers.

I’m surprised (and a bit annoyed) that it happens so rarely again. It would have been nice to be exposed to new villagers regularly.
What makes it all the more frustrating is that the timing of campers and open slots in town has such a low chance of overlapping.
