in a spur of the moment, i decided to try and create my own signature... i wanted to know if it looked okay? like, if it's readable etc? constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!

ooo it looks nice and vibrant I like it! It's a little hard to see the texts (especially 'Obtained') and the rose pixel though. Mainly because the background takes all the attention away from it. Adding an overlay underneath the texts and an outline around the rose might do the trick.

okay i have added an outline to the rose, is it easier to see now? i've been messing about with overlays but haven't figured out how to make it look more clear while still matching the pastel-ness going on, but i will mess about with it a bit more later! thank you ~

It's far too big :/

sorry, is this better now?

I really like it! I love all the cute pastels and general feel to it, but I think the black outline you added for the rose doesn't fit in well with the rest of the graphic. I would have picked white to be Honest, but there's a high chance it wouldn't be noticed anyway because of its placement in a part of the background that is inherently white. I would move both the rose and the obtained text somewhere at the bottom where the white can really stand out, but that's just my personal preference.

Either way I think it's super cute! Thumbs up.

Love the signature you made and for starters that is pretty great! I would just make the villagers a tad bigger to see them better, idk if that's their normal height/width for your program or what not. So if that is the case then ignore my comment! But I love the freedom of the sprites everywhere! Nice font to match the background! I Would also make the font a tad bigger so people can see it and easily read it :D I think everything is perfect, just tad bigger!

Looks pretty good, better than what I'd come up with!

thank you very much!!

A little too brightly colorful for me, but it looks nice.

i have created a new, slightly toned-down version (the other one was a bit obnoxious). hope this is a little less gaudy!!

thank you very much!! i chose the black because it went with the rest of the villagers outlines, and white would've just disappeared into the clouds  but thank you very much! changed it now, hope this one goes a little better ~

Doesn't look bad at all. The text is hard to read, mainly because of the color. Also, the text looks a lil jagged, so I would consider changing the text setting so it's more smooth (called anti-aliasing).

I will say that if you make your villagers bigger, beware that they might be even harder to see since the quality goes downhill fast, especially with pixel art. I think they're fine at that size, but you might wanna add a light border around them so they pop. I do that with my sigs on occasion.

i understand what you mean about the jagginess, i went back to editing it and i think i've managed to make it a little less so, please tell me if it looks like that to you!

and also, how would i go about adding a border to my villagers? i've tried going into the blending options and selecting stroke, but every single mode is too think. thank you!

i really like your signatures, i think that i'd eventually buy one c: i would maybe change the color of the font, i find it kinda hard to read. whenever i do things like this (used to be really into fanart photo edit things), i just fiddle around with the font until i think that it meshes well with the background and can be easily readable, hope this helps!

oh wow thank you!! i will have a little mess around and see if i can find a colour that i like (i'm very picky with my colours but i will dabble just this once), thank you for your advice and compliment!! ❀

No problem! I Just saw your updated signature and that is like nearly perfect lol~ See tons of improveemnt! I love the color contrast, I would kind of like to read the text more so maybe making it bolder/using different font/ or making the outline a bit larger by 1 or 2 will help as well. I see you took the villagers and used it as the normal sprite~ Which I meant by making it bigger so that is perfect on the dot! :D

Great job! I think you can honestly make these for people! :D

thank you so much!! i have made the outline larger as you said and it is so much easier to read! thank you for the help, and your lovely compliments again!!

i would love to start making them for people, but i'm so busy right now :< maybe when the summer holidays roll about i might just think about it ~

It looks a lot better now. :) With the villagers, it's the exact way you do the outline on the text. You can adjust the stroke width all the way down one. That's the thinnest it'll go. I can tell that you have it at least 2 with the text.

okay thank you!!! i'm just a bit worried in case it begins to look bulky and chunky, sigh
