Is Nintendo still providing DLC items in this game?

Well, just a few minutes ago, I received a letter from Nintendo containing a massage chair in my recently purchased copy of Animal Crossing: Wild World, right after I received my Friend Code in the game. Could this possibly indicate that Nintendo is still providing DLC items to the owners of this game, or is it just an annual present that was intentionally programmed into the game?

How odd. I never got that before. When exactly did you receive this?

Whoa, the massage chair is a pretty rare item. I never got it when I first got the game.

Must be that they did start it back up. What did the letter say, exactly?

Letter:
"Dear Blake,
Flowers need water, but they also need a peaceful environment. So stop *****ing out all the time!
From Nintendo"
I am astonished by the fact that Nintendo is actually aware of my attempted *****ing and insanity...

no Nintendo has not sent me anything. but back in December they sent me a letter about fire works. and that seemed odd to me. they said it was July.

Well, these maybe possible indications of Nintendo regenerating DLC on Animal Crossing: Wild World, if I am not mistaken.

now that i think of it.... that is when i got my friend code.

I don't know but I got the same letter like a week ago with Nintendo giving me a massage chair.

I don't even know how to get a DLC on Wild World.. Explain?

Yes... I, too, am confused. What is a DLC? I just got my friend code today, so I suppose I shall expect one.

A DLC is a special gift Nintendo gives out to Animal Crossing Players, they usually come out for a reason, and are obtainoble if you have access to Wi-Fi.

I just don't know how to get them on Wild world :S

It's not necessarily DLC for this game. This is just merely a letter from Nintendo with items already included in the game. Some items are rare, like the massage chair, while some items can be a flower bag or a piece of furniture.

Anyways, there was a very long space of no letters being sent, though they may be coming very rarely now. I am excited to see Nintendo still paying attention to this game.

The Massage Chair is part of the trading game to get the Golden Axe so I don't see why they would give it as DLC, it's really rare...

I don't have my copy of Wild World any more though so I can't be sure.

I recieved a letter from Nintendo too yesterday with the Massage Chair.
~AND~, Nintendo wrote a message on my message board.
"Written by Nintendo
Our fingers have been so
frozen this winter, we
couldn't type a single
word! Oh, and the dog ate
our homework, too! Sorry!"

I am expecting these letters from now on: http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/920786/47303

me too. try the eight degrees of wendell method to get those items

Depends when you bought the game,
it has been confirmed that nintendo was giving away a rare item in animal crossing's release.
if you only just bought the game then your lucky or its a glitch.
I Dont know why your complaining about the gift nintendo gave you, Its a shortcut in getting the golden axe, Just give the massage chair to tortima the mayor if you havn't already done so and continue from there =) .

Ehh... I doubt that they will, some copies of the games are just programmed to receive a present when they get their friend code... I think it's a one off thing...

I got my massage chair from the turnip trade.
