Is there “Void” for villagers in this game?

Curious if the villager void is back! You know where you get like 12-16 villagers to move out before the target villager can move back? :0

I was told no it is not!
You can move a villager out then immediately scan them in to your campsite and have them move in.
I haven't done it myself so I can't confirm though

No. I had moved Marina out, went on another mystery island spree, and found her again and now I have her again in the exact same spot. I've also seen Zucker 2 more times since he moved out which was 2 days ago
