Is this tablet any good?

If it's wacom, it's a good brand. = v= Though I heard if it's a tablet with a built-in screen, it's a lot nicer to draw on if you're used to drawing traditional art (although a lot more expensive). Buy a tablet that doesn't have a super smooth surface. Your pen will just slide and it'll be hard to draw in precision.

lol, they're like $1000 and people say they aren't that great for the price

or just put a piece of paper over your tablet that works

You guys must be talking about the cintiq tablet * the one with the screen)
Most professional artist use them, people say the 22in hd is the best for size/ price
The 22hd is like 1800$ which seems like a lot but if you're a professional artist it shouldnt be much since you will probably be making TONS of money from commissions, Patron, Donations, job ETC
I personally used this for a year from art class, its very natural, like, I have a simple 60$ tablet that connects with a usb to the pc but the Cintiq screen feels great, like the connection of drawing on paper ;o;. It takes a bit to get used to it, understanding settings, buttons getting the feel but man, just some of the stuff I was able to draw was great. My lineart was much nicer than it is now ;-; more on point. I usually doodled with it, since it wasnt actually part of the class I was taking but my teacher I known for years would let me use it when I finished my projects and stuff.
Sakimichan Is an example, her art is very high quality, though i'm a bit sad she turn'd to a lot of NSFW art for money but still shes making like 65k per month just from Paetron so yeah lol.

65k a month, wow wtf

you can download drivers online so don't worry about not having a disk drive!! c:

Okay, two last questions: is it easy to download drivers and does it come with an art program? If not, what should I use?

i have this tablet, it's very good but the cord fringed within a year and i haven't been able to find a replacement ANYWHERE, even on the wacom website

It only comes with ArtRage, and ArtRage sucks. If you want to draw art, get the Comic one [here] As it comes with Clip Studio Paint and Anime Studio~

Most people use paint tool sai, and people tend to use Photoshop, PS is complicated if you've never used it before so people tend to stay with paint tool sai because its fairly easy to understand.
They should come with a driver disk and if not drivers can be downloaded from their site.
I had an issue with a bad windows update from micsosoft so I couldnt use my tablet for like 6 months or something,( when plugged in, it just blink'd ) but after a while I found otu the problem was my pen driver was missing, so i just simpley google'd the name of my pen ( CTH 470) downloaded it and was able to finally use my tablet
