JOLLY COOPERATION

Audio diary, I have horrible news. I've just been to my trial, and it was the most intimidating thing I've ever been to in my life. Council members everywhere, glaring and shuffling papers. It was darkened like when I went to my hearing, and I didn't see a single face. But I remember none of the trial. I don't remember what I said in my defense or what they argued. The only thing that sticks in my mind are the words 'higher up trial'. That just means my punishment is so severe it can't be enacted by the court I was in.
-loud sob-
I can't believe this is happening. Everything I've done for Mori and Mayor Eva was all a waste. Doing this audio diary and hoping we could change things was all a waste. There's no point being my optimistic, bubbly self anymore - I'm never leaving this place ever again. I can only imagine there's a few possibilities - banishment, being forced into manual labor for the Council, or the hammer. But I don't want any of those. I haven't done anything wrong..
-sniffle-
-cough-
Mayor Eva left the Council headquarters earlier today. She did actually return to Mori, but I don't see why. The Council has no control over where she can go other than the badlands, so Mayor Eva can leave any time she wants with no punishment, one of the few advantages of being mayor. I guess she just can't bear to leave the citizens behind, to leave me behind.
-silence for a few moments-
I'm going to end this here. Frankly, I'll only get to make maybe two more entries if I'm lucky. This will just be discarded after I start my punishment, I'm certain. So wish me luck, audio diary, because I have none.
