JOLLY COOPERATION

It's Isabelle again. Sorry about the wait, audio diary. I haven't been updating it for months because I've been so bogged down with paperwork and other things for Mayor Eva. The Council set all these new standards on sending in paperwork detailing everything about the town, like the residents, our daily income, and other things. It's been terrible trying to work it all out in a schedule so I can send it in on time, but I finally did it.
-sigh-
But things have only gone downhill since July. Residents have been coming and going very quickly, and the Mayor is very stressed out from all the work she has to do setting up the residents and making sure we get projects done to please the Council. After all, they can send a representative up here to check out the town, and if we don't meet standards, we'll lose the town and the land, becoming outcasts. I've tried to make sure we stay on the Council's good side, if they have one. But we haven't heard any calls from them recently, so we must be doing fine.
-fumbling-
-sniffle-
The last time I recorded audio, the Council called about our tax incomes and demanded we send them down as soon as possible. The taxes came to a total of 11,300,635 Bells. We sent every last Bell down, which pleased them as this was more than usual. We haven't heard from them a lot since, which I'm very grateful for. But that's all that's been going on, so I guess that's all I need to say. Bye, audio diary.
