Island theme/ideas for New Horizons

What island theme or ideas do you guys have for your new horizons town? I was thinkng of doing a modern tropical island, or 1890s luxury paradise. I’m curious at what worlds people will create with the possibility of putting furniture outside now and the different islands we could create

i have no themed plan and probably wont have a set design, just gonna make things that look cool and spark joy. However i will be playing with my friend as you can local multiplayer on the same cartridge, so i will probably let her control design, as she is a lot more creative than me

That sounds like a good idea tbh and will end up with a town you both love

Still working on a theme. Actually, I thought I found one, but then I decided to not stick with it and instead waiting till we get more informations about the game. I would really like to know how much freedom we have this time in terms of landscaping and how exactly in which ways you can design the outside.

Haven't decided on a theme just yet, I'll wait until I get the game. However, I think I might not even adopt a theme and just focus and making my island neat and pretty!

No set theme in my head yet.
In the past games I have always just made my town in whatever way satisfies me.
So that will probably be lots of trees and minimal modern / flashy attractions.

But who knows, maybe I will spice things up this time!

I always try to have a very natural theme, very foresty ^-^ I loved being able to use clovers in NL so I hope they bring them back for NH. I also want some parts of my town to look sort of mysterious and spooky, so who knows what all I'll come up with :')

I also did very natural themes in NL and plan on doing so on NH, however I feel like my ideas will change over time like they always do

I plan on making a natural theme island or making a pokemon theme island. Hopefully they will let us plant tropical trees in the main island besides the beach...

I will probably go with my "usual" victorian/old style themed town with a gloomy twist. Maybe something more depending on what it has.
