Anybody know? I wanna go in with a new team but I’m worried creating the team would take longer than the DLC itself

If you’re not exploring too much, you could probably finish the DLC quest within three-four hours.

Oooh thank you I’ll just make a new team since the idea of reusing my original sounds boring

The game play was really short I was very shocked I hope the next one will be more long

The DLC was terribly short and I completed my pokedex in 2 days :( I also wanted to make a new team but everything is lvl60 lol

The Crown Tundra is supposedly themed around exploration and story, so I imagine it'll be longer (which I believe to be true according to some datamined stuff that was found in The Isle of Armor's data). Isle of Armor is built around growth and competitive, hence why a lot of QoL stuff for competitive and pokemon with a lot of use in competitive were added into the game to be caught.

The dlc is very short. Now if you're into raids and joining shiny ones and or you collect pokemon in apricorn/beast/dream plus Safari and sport ball returning then you'll be in the isle of armor for a quite long time other than that dlc you can finish it in within less than 4 hours.

The storyline itself is really short, should take you between 2-4 hours to do. However, the Isle of Amor as an area is pretty big and there is a lot of area to explore if you are into that.

To answer your question, I went in with a new team that I trained to around level 50/55 and was able to use it in several battles with NPCs, so that was kind of fun. Besides that unfortunately it looks like there are no new trainers to battle on the island (other than the main story characters in the. DLC).

edit: I'm sure you could use the new team in the second part of the expansion pass when it comes out!

I got bored of my original team a LONG time ago so it was an easy decision for me (will do the same in Tundra) Leveling them up to 60 was no problem since I had tons of XP candies. I used really old shiny Pokémon I‘ve been hoarding over the years, original Magearna, Kubfu and event Rockruff.. did I need an entire team for like 5 Pokémon battles? No..lol but it was a refreshing change.

anyway yeah it was really short. Found all the Diglett blindly before progressing and it still went by too fast.
