MAN FINALLY, GOD, THAT DROVE ME NUTS!

It was like my favorite DS game when I was 7 called Nintendogs: Lab & Friends. Lost it one day and was so devastated. But I never gave up this search lol. I still occasionally searched the house every year in attempt to find it.

13 years later... the time span mom popped out two more kids and our family moved houses, I finally just found it today, randomly. No, seriously. I was searching for a screwdriver in the storage room and went OH WTF THERE IT IS

Am now almost 21 lol.

Y'all ever lose things and find it randomly one day?

That’s great that you found it! That must be really annoying to have not known where it was all this time. And yeah, I have lost things that I would find at a later time. No matter how many checks I do, whenever I’m moving my luggage from one place to another I always leave at least one thing behind. XD

That's great to hear! I had a few games that I vaguely remember playing. Unfortunately, I could never find them, even when I asked my parents where it was (they couldn't find them either). If there's one thing I did find, it was a pink stylus for my pink DS lite! Though my cousins have it and they live on the other side of the world so I can't really make full use of it, unless I use it as a replacement for my lost 3ds stylus. Heh.

I have a box of stuff that I'm pretty sure has a Snivy figurine in it, and I've been looking off and on through my dad's shed for it for... idk probably the last three years? I'm gonna look again this Summer, hoping that I actually find it this time lollll

I've never really had any situations where I lost something for more than a few months and later found, but there are many thing I own which I'm hoping to find someday. One of those things is a stuffed animal chipmunk, which was one of my favorite toys when I was a kid. Part of me just really wants to see it again, to be reminded of my childhood.

I'm glad you found it eventually!!

I lose stuff around the house a lot and have taken to going on alternating periods of searching and hoping that if i stop looking, the thing will crop up eventually? Like I was looking for a tube of lipstick for weeks and then when i gave up on it i ended up finding it in one of my other bags while looking for something else so uh i guess it works sometimes :)))))

Glad you found it! I have lost a few things, but not too much, as I always make sure I put things back when I'm done using it, but last year I did lose my one 2ds XL's stylus and could not find it for the life of me. Turns out it was still in my closet with all my other 3ds games and such, ON THE FLOOR! Like my parents always say, it the thing you were looking for was a snake, it would of bit you already. Seriously though, I overlooked the floor near my cases with all my stuff in it. >.<

I lost my copy of Nitendogs about ten years ago.

It will show up one day.

Eey Lab and Friends, I have that one too, I love the black labs. Does it still play?

I too have lost games, the one I lost (well it wasn't mine, it kinda got lost... somehow...) was the Mario game that you have to make it throu the worlds. I guess it's just called Mario Bros. It was lost for like a good 2 or 3 years. Then my sister randomly found it somewhere where it shouldn't have been.

I've lost clothes to, which makes me the most mad. I've 'lost' (which wasn't my fault) a pair of black denim shorts I wore so often when I was younger and black spandex shorts. Also a pale green tank top. I put them in my hamper to never be seen again. I'm still mad about the black shorts, cause they didn't have the indigo dye in them that apparently bleeds colour on other stuff. Luckily my spandex shorts have been found, by my sister. Good thing too cause I kept looking in stores for just a cheap generic pair of spandex shorts and since it was the cold season, the stores didnt have any in stock.

Ahh that's awesome, congrats :D

And yeah while not finding a physical game I searched for decades for this mid-90s MS-DOS game I played with my cousins as a kid. I only managed to find the title last year (Sea School) and I even tried it briefly on en emulator and it was as I remembered it. I didn't think it could had that ordinary title with that kind of game and I only remembered vague parts. But I'm so glad I found the title and stuff last year!

Wow, 13 years of searching! Glad you finally found your favorite game. I hope my missing SD card doesn't take me 13 years to find, lol.

I've had a lot of instances where my favorite items go missing (usually because I carry my favorite stuff everywhere). I remember when I was smaller, my mom was taking me and my brothers to go see a doctor, and she told us we couldn't bring anything from home with us (most likely to avoid a situation in which we lose anything we considered valuable because kids are easily distracted and tend to lose everything). Well, for whatever odd reason, that time, I thought someone would break into our home and steal all my stuff while I was away, so I hid my squishy inside one of my mom's vases (what I considered most valuable at the time), and when I came back from the doctor visit, I forgot that I hid it for safekeeping and I started to panick and thought someone really did break in and stole my squishy. Apparently, the robbers left everything else intact and where only after that. I cried a lot, but ultimately gave up on finding it. It took three years for it to appear again because the vase tipped over and broke. I was happy when I found it again, but now that I look back on it, that was a really silly occurrence.

Congrats. I'm glad you found it! Things like this always happen specially over smaller things. Whenever I'm searching for something else I find that I was looking for before instead. So this is something that happens to mr and my mom.

I guess you can say I'm on a little hunt as well. I'm missing a good amount of cds from my fave artist when I was a child and I still haven't found them. I have a hunch I know where the cd case might be but it would be somewhere I. cannot reach and might need a ladder.

Wow, that's amazing. Good for you! Nintendogs: Chihuahua & friends was one of my first DS games btw!

Reminds me of my lost Pokemon Ruby and my first Gamecube Memory card which have been lost for over a decade and still lost to this day. Ruby isn't as bad (Don't think I have any important pokes in there...?) as my Gamecube MC since my gamecube's MC holds my files with many, many memories. My first ever Animal Crossing town... gone. My first ever Chaos I raised...gone. Unfortunately my Pokemon Y is now on the lost of missing stuff. May have left it at my grandmother's house who is over a thousand miles away. My uncle or his kid probably took it by now. At least I sent all my good mons to my Omega Ruby though

I actually lost my first copy of wild world for years. It was long enouhg that I considered that thing long gone and bought another one. A few years ago I was helping my mom move out of her old house and I randomly found it in the basement/storage room. I was glad to have it back and I played it for the nostalgia for a while, but at that point new leaf was out and I was way more dedicated those that town.

Lol, glad you found it. I've never been able to find all of my old DS games. They were either trashed or put in a box in my cellar.

The only one I really think about is my Pillow Pets DS game. Those were the days.

i once found a copy of wild world in the midst of moving that i had misplaced years prior; i was really shocked when i found it lmao

Awesome! Did you play the town?

i loaded it up and played for a few moments just for nostalgic purposes, but unfortunately i didn’t get back into playing it full-time since i had new leaf by this point and ended up selling wild world about two years after finding it again aha

That is crazy it survived 13 years and a move!! Glad you found it though hopefully those doggos are still alive
