So as you all know that I got my copy early and I started early in game, I've been told by Nintendo that when my new Animal Crossing themed Switch reach me, I will be able to transfer my save data successfully. I tired to do that but I simply failed. I need your advice now...

Should I...
- Start over?
- Transfer my bells + stuff to my friend so he/she can transfer it to me later?
- Wait for Nintendo to release Save Data transfer tool?

& are Nook Miles transferable?

In your situation, I think I would start over. But transferring your bells and items via your friend would be good too, so not all of your effort goes to waste.

I second this! I’m wayyyy too impatient, but in the long run it would be cool to stick with your initial island :)

If the game just came out yesterday, I can't imagine you would have progressed all that far in the span of 24 hours? It probably wouldn't harm much simply to start over. ^-^

I think I would have a friend hold items and then set the date backwards to the first day I ever played. Then I'd TT through the days to unlock everything I had before.

I don't normally TT, but I would in this situation.

He got the game early, he's probably almost a week in by now.

ooh I didn't know some people got the game early! That's neat! The best thing to do in this case is probably to trade anything special over to another game, then start over and get back to enjoying this wonderful game. Starting over can always offer new opportunities afterall

Do you think I can time travel safely?

I timetraveled because my day got a day late, so I decided to play one half yesterday and another half of the day today. I avoided updating the game with the wrong time, but everything else worked perfectly fine. I'd also avoid doing anything put playing Animal Crossing with the wrong time, you never know. But this game only reads the day and time from your console, it doesn't double check with the internet. I played half a day, saved and closed, changed the day, updated the game and started it again without an issue.

So now everything is fine but since I’ve used 2 save datas of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, my Nintendo Switch Online application on my iPhone only opens up my old save data that I’ve deleted, I want my current save data to be on my Nintendo Switch Online application. Anyone knows how to deal with this?
