And from the ground up, too!
Here's some previews of some things I've made so far.
Cosmo the sheep has a purple body and green fur. Since I've made this pattern, I've learned exactly why the legs were bowing out, and how draping the fur over the body was the long way to achieve the effect I got.
I've since detached and restuffed her head, and I'm working on sewing on some ears. Next will come a tail, and some pink swirled horns.
She was my very first project!
This is a head I'm making. I drafted it, and made some minor alterations for the second go. The eyes are orange felt, and the smaller details are (my first) embroidery. In the future, faces will include even more embroidery.
This is... Ichigo Kurosaki, substitute soul reaper's pattern. That's an American dime for size reference. Why is it called what it is? Well, what possessed me to make a plushie no bigger than 2 inches in size? It's so amusing, I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.
Ichigo Kurosaki, substitute soul reaper, age 15, highschooler, now has a body and a head, but no ears and tail.
I never thought I was able to sew, but I'm not too bad at it, wouldn't you say? I've learned so quickly with no prior knowledge. It blows me away
I wrote this up in January. I'm currently learning new things, and updating my art under the name Woolpuppy.
Here's one of the drafts I'm currently translating into pattern form: Link
