"I've moved out." Glitch?

Hi everyone so I've come across something strange. I recently bought a new plot of land so that I could invite new villagers in and I visited a mystery island where I found a villager I didn't want so I didn't speak to them. The next day Isabelle announced that Vivian had moved in which I thought was weird because I have never seen Vivian before and when I went to the plot of land, the house was there but Vivian was nowhere to be seen and her door said "I've moved out."

I still can't seem to find her anywhere but she still shows up on my villager list and I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this or knew of a way to fix this, if anything is actually even wrong, thanks!

Check the museum. I wonder if "I moved out" was a bad translation. Usually when villagers move out, their house disappears.

I can't explain the "I've moved out" thing, but Vivian moving in is normal. After building a plot of land, you have until the rest of the day to recruit villagers. If you didn't, a random villager will move in.

Thank for the info, was not aware of this, I got 3 completely random villagers because I didn't asked anyone to move to my island.

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me. I don't dislike them or anything, but I wish Nook explained this better.

This is horrible, did Vivian move out of somebody else's town that you visited by chance? The same thing happened to me but it was when my villager moved into somebody else's town. If this glitch can happen on it's own, then it's even worse than I thought.

Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to kick Vivian out with an amiibo card because when I tried that, it glitched out my game even more. :/ I don't believe there's a fix for this one atm, at least not that I know of.

Please report the glitch to Nintendo when you're able to, this needs to get fixed asap.

Thanks for the help guys, I haven't been able to find her so I will most likely report this to Nintendo and see what happens

Seems like there a few bugs concerning villagers anyway
