My friend visited my island because Genji was in boxes and she wanted him. She left and now his door says "I've moved out". Is that normal?

Yeah it is I adopted a villager from someone's town and this happened for them too.

If your friend invited him to move in, yep. That's how it was last time I adopted a villager, though that was in WW, LOL

Seeing all these glitches for villagers moving is motivating me not to get invlove in villager adoption ;-;
