I haven't seen a Jojo thread so I decided to make one. Just talk about anything Jojo here. Try not to spoil too much for those who haven't read the manga or watched the anime.
I love JoJo, i got into it this year and it's like my current obsession <3 I haven't read the manga yet (I'll get there after the part 4 anime ends or sooner), so yeah definitely no spoilers please, I've already ran into way too many while watching through the series. :s My favorite JoJo is probably Josuke or Joseph as of now but Diamond is Unbreakable is my favorite part.
I love Jojo, one of my favorite animes. I love Jonathan and Joseph alot, so I guess they're my favorites?
I have no idea why but I completely skipped part 4, there's just something about it that makes me put off reading/watching it. Part 1 and 5 are my favorites, and Jojo is one of the reasons I'm decent in Spanish, because some long night ago I downloaded every Jojo volume out there but it was in Spanish.
I found part one and two really hard to get into. They were so badly structured and a big complaint from me being they kept pulling new powers out of their ass all the friggin time. My friend that told me to watch them keeps making excuses for it, but for something I've watched, part 1 and 2 felt like massive wastes of time with their sole existence being to justify the plot of part 3.
I'm really enjoying part 3 though. Old man Joespeh is by far my favorite, with Polnareff sightly behind. They just have the most interesting and hilarious episodes. It so well better paced and written, not to mentionit feels so much more like I have involvement being able to think "use hammon!" "use Silver Chariot" in a way where in part 1 and 2 they were introducing new skills so often it felt like I may as well have sat back, turned myself off and let the random **** just happen like any other generic anime with no direction.
Jotoro is awful though. Such a boring character. By far the worst part of part 3. Him and Iggy *shudder*...Basically, at this point, I'm sick of being told they'll grow on me when I'm 8 episodes away from the finale. They're just awful, boring characters.
At any rate, I got through part 1 and 2 from incessant nagging from my best friend saying it's awesome, and 2 years later, I've finally gotten through part 1 and 2 to a point where I'm enjoying it. Whilst I appreciate the 'need' for part 1 and 2 in terms of story, I wish they didn't try to rush through them, because I have I feeling that's largely where the problems came from.
