Oops. Work got the better of me, so I was unable to post. Sorry. Let's see if I can get caught up.

Found two more hybrids Tuesday - another purple rose, which is awesome, but I don't really need them just now, and an orange rose. Who do I have to thwack with a net to get that last pink tulip for my house?

Gave Shari her third dose of medicine. She looked a lot better. She wasn't shivering or had that funk symbol over her head. Hoping she'll be back up and about later today.

Lolly asked me to come over to her house, first thing in the morning. It gave me a chance to look around again and decide what should stay or go. Stitches had sent me a modern wood shelf as a thank you for having him over, and I decided to mail it to Lolly. Goodbye, fish?

Pekoe sent a letter in response to some fruit I mailed her. She included a bamboo shoot. I've planted it on the riverbank between Antonio's and Anabelle's houses. Not where I want a permanent stand, but if I can get several shoots, it makes for a nice rustic-looking hedge when you chop it down.

Gulliver was on the beach again. I figured out that he was trying to get to Thailand, so we'll see what he sends me as a souvenir. I also got a lucky frog from Eugene, just because.

Working on getting the mannequins for Sapphire. I've been buying everything from Ables' with her, then dropping it so I can pick it up with Emerald. The Nookling Bandits didn't have anything I was really interested in buying, but I did get the fortune cookies. One was a repeat - a pikmin, I think - but the other was Peach's Parasol! So cute! I'm going to have to put together an outfit that'll work when I carry this.

Rediscovered that dandelion puffs don't last more than a day, so I'm sticking with white cosmos for the hideaway. Maybe I'll mix in a couple of purple violets, which is as close to lady slippers as I can get. Once the bench is planted, I can add a little more variety around it, as that would be in the sun.

Rizzo pinged me in the afternoon, and I thought I was finally going to get some Zen PWPs, but he said he was thinking of leaving. Actually gave Lolly's birthday as his moving day. Not happening, mousie. First of all, I've become rather fond of him. Second, no one is spoiling Lolly's day by packing up their house.

Fortunately, the rest of the day was pretty quiet.

Yesterday started off well - watered my flowers, found all the fossils, including two new ones for Blathers, got new carpet and wallpaper from Sahara, and then tucked my 3DS into my bag. When I got to my destination, I pulled it out and saw that the cartridge had been ejected. Gah. Started all over, but only one of the fossils was new this time. I wish there was a latch or something that would keep that from happening. Fortunately, none of the villagers appeared to notice.

Nook didn't have anything worth buying for the houses, and after getting the fortune cookies from the Nookling Bandits and a sapling from Leif, I turned the shopping over to Sapphire. I wants those mannequins!

Shari was in her house, but she had fully recovered from her cold. She thanked me for helping her and gave me a green rug. Awesome, since I'm eventually planning on using the Green Series upstairs in Emerald's room, that worked out perfectly. Well, it did until Rizzo saw me leaving Shari's and sniped it from me. Oh, well. I can always order it from the NBs again once the furniture is all assembled. Right now, I've got the Lovely Series up there, and I'm pretty happy with that.

My bamboo sent out a shoot, which I dug up and buried near the Train Station. I'll let it grow, then chop it down to make a rustic-looking hedge. Well, it'll be a hedge after I get some more shoots. I've seen it in other towns, and it looks nice.

Managed to get the entire coffee set from Brewster, so I think the next step are the Brewstoids. I'm not sure if I'll keep them in the house or swap them out at Club LOL. I know I'll try for the set with the other characters, as well, so there are plenty to go around.

Making the rounds to say hello to everyone, I stopped in to see Keaton. He told me he had a secret to share:

I'm really not sure why he felt compelled to share that, nor do I wish any kind of demonstration.

Paid off another loan on my house, so I asked Nook to expand the left-side room. I'm actually looking forward to finishing that off. One more expansion on the left, two on the right, and I'll be done.

There was a meteor shower at night, so I made a wish. Stupid star sent me a zero lamp. Really? Does my house look like it would use that? Meh.

So, there you have the Reader's Digest version of what has been going on in Hollowyn for the last couple of days. Now I'm off to see what today has to bring.

Well, at least you could catalog the Zero Lamp without having to spend 10,000 bells? x)

Keaton's house is awesome! Looks like a real beach. And why is 'tongue twisters' in blue text? Is it, like, an actual thing or something?

True, I guess I should be grateful for that. :)

Yep, I like his house. He's replaced a couple of things, on the sly, but I try to keep him from making too many impulse buys. I've no idea why it was put in blue text. If it is an actual thing, I'm still not sure I want to know about it!

I think the "tongue twisters" thing has to do with April Fool's Day. Each villager has a special skill that will help you on that day. It also helps to find a list of their birthdays, IIRC.

Ooh, okay. I don't know a thing about April Fool's Day, but now I'm even more curious. o:

Ah, that makes sense. Might be one of the clues he'll toss out so I know the real Keaton from the fake. I'm actually looking forward to April Fool's Day.

It's too bad you had to start over - I hate it when that happens to my games, especially my older ones that I play too much. D:

At least you got a Green rug! I love that series.

The main difference was that the money rock gave me bells instead of ore, but at least I didn't have to wait for Re-Tail to open to talk to Sahara. I'll just make sure to save next time.

I like the Green series, too. Doing it over in light green. And I'm doing the Blue series in light blue for Sapphire.
