Wouldn't it make sense to rename The Basement to The Island? Since in Animal Crossing New Leaf you can play games on the island and we plays games in The Basement. And The Museum and Brewster's Cafe are clearly AC references. And we are on an AC forum.

Seriously though, it doesn't need to be changed. If you're going for AC references, well the basement is already one and suits it just fine.
