Just a theory, but...

Do you think it's possible to change the color of our clothes and accessories? So, I kinda noticed something either in one of the trailers or two of them, (can't remember if it was one or two) but one of the girl characters had the same exact shirt as one of the boy characters, yet it was that of a different color? So is the shirts, shoes, pants, skirts, socks, hats, accessories and dresses able to change colors with a certain NPC or is there already different color variations of the clothes already there in the game? What do you guys think?

I think it makes a lot of sense you being able to change the colors. Maybe you either can take it somewhere and have it changed or maybe when you buy it there are different color options to buy. That would be really cool and I hope that is a thing.

I sure hope so! There were a lot of clothes I liked but I wanted to weak something just a little bit.

I hope this game really lets us customize things a lot - just put them on our crafting tables and go to work - change this color here, tweak the size - so we can have some really unique spaces!

Remember how we were limited in NL?

Say there's a pretty dress or umbrella with frills on it, but when you design one, it's plain because there are no other samples other than basic to design on.
So I think you'll be able to do what you did before for something plain, but if you want a pink, green or black Dollhouse Dress for example? No problem! And you you'll pretty much be able to customise the beautiful existing designs to suit you!

And the way, if you're not at designing dresses or clothes (like me I completely suck!!!) you can tailor any item to suit your mood!

Ahhh, yes! I would love to be able to choose the color right from there. Say if what you see already isn't the exact color you want, then you can totally choose another color.

Yeah, I would want to tweak them too. Sometimes the color or size isn't right or I don't like it, so if we can change that, then that would be sooo nice.

Omigosh! I love what you did with the dollhouse dress! I really like the black better! Also, I'm not good at designing clothes either, so having the option to change colors or even patterns would make the game soo much more interesting. Some days I feel like certain colors, like sunny I would definitely do blue or even light blue if I could.

Considering we had a pretty good amount of furniture customization in New Leaf and crafting seems to open a lot more opportunities for things like that I don't see why not. I think it would be a good way to personalize things.

Gothic would be pretty fun to do, but I'm with you on the pastel part. Pastel things are always soo cute and that's one of the reasons why I love them! ❤

Yeah, crafting always adds a lot to any game.

More personalized things would mean everyone won't look the same like they did in New Leaf, so I agree with you.

I would love to have such a option, it would help a lot if you go for a certain outfit and want them in fitting colors/designs, would make things much more easier instead of forever searching for clothes, accessories and such which looking good on your character. And I could imagine that New Horizons may offer this, after all crafting seems to be the big thing now in this game.

Thank you. I normally have a good eye for spotting things like this, especially when I look at videos over and over again. With the crafting, it does seem possible and I don't see why they wouldn't add that to the game.

I'd like to see different colored Link outfits and have friends dress up and walk around like in Four Swords. I don't know whether it really will be added, though, since Animal Crossing always did have similar clothing patterns with different colors (like Rose shirt and Sky Rose shirt), but here's hoping some character or crafting tool gives you the option.

Having the ability to change even the shoes would be so nice. If there was one thing both my mom and I agreed on was that sometimes the shoes in New Leaf wouldn't match up with many different outfits due to color. So having the ability to match them would make outfits look so much nicer. Also, I see your point. There was some clothes in New Leaf that were the same, but with different colors.

Glad to see so many people like the idea. I would love to express myself more and at least look a little different than most other people.
