Just bought AC: CF!

So, today, I purchased Animal Crossing: City Folk, a game I've been wanting for a long time. I kept resetting the game until I got a great town, with a good default fruit and layout. I got both on about my 4th try, which is awesome! I bought a house very close to Nook's, got everything set up, but now I'm in a pickle. I can't really do anything.

I've lurked The Bell Tree as a guest for about a month now, and I know that the community is very helpful. Now that I have my friend code set up and I see some interest, I'd really like it if some people could come over and get me familiarized. What I'm in need of most:

- Any kind of foreign fruit (my town currently has only oranges.)
- Regular tools (I currently have a watering can, shovel, and rod.)
- Useful furniture (some kind of storage, mainly.)

So, to sum things up, if someone could help me get settled in my town, it'd be much appreciated.

I know you just started and are probably broke, so you could use one of the many wonderful Money Making guides, which can be found here.

I should've done what you did, I hate my town's layout...

You'll eventually develop a sense of Stockholm Syndrome, don't worry. It was like that for me on the original AC for the Gamecube.

I should've thought things out just a bit more. Now that I can read over my post, I can see that getting a bell gift isn't very realistic. I'll probably try to get myself going with turnips tomorrow.

Fruits would be great to start off with, though. It'll help me pay off my loan almost 5 times quicker, and give me some startup money for the turnip market.

I read that she comes at 6:00 AM and leaves at noon, but it's still pretty early.
