It is... AMAZING. Oddly enough, the singleplayer has been changed to resemble, of all games, Fire Emblem. More epic, at any rate... basically it's a post-apocalyptic tale, with lots of twists and turns.

BTW, the Map Maker is AWESOME! 30 x 30, TONS of customization options, trading maps over Wi-Fi... good stuff.

Any of you guys have any questions about the game?

The way I see it is that if all the other Advance Wars games were the children then this one is the adult. I'm getting it hopefully on Monday when it comes out.

My favorite part about this game is that the CO powers won't change the game. That made the campaign so hard in all the other games.

Exactly, that is EXACTLY the way I feel about this game. It's Advance Wars all grown up.

Yeah, the CO powers aren't as destructive this time around, making the game more fun, all around.

OK, I'm on Chapter 6... game's amazing so far. A lot of the characters are likable... in fact, all but one (even though Dr. Morris is kinda funny). Not too many COs this time around, and that's a good thing...

Doesn't seem to be a main antagonist yet, but I'm sure there will be.

My question would be if I should get the game, but it seems pretty obvious from your thoughts on the game

;)
If you liked past games in the series, Fire Emblem, or other turn-by-turn strategy games, then you'll absolutely love this game. The singleplayer mode is amazing... but the true meat is the multiplayer, online, and map maker. All great options.

Is there a smiley for "green with envy"? Post a video or two, I wanna see the map editor.

I loved the previous advance wars a lot actually. The only thing I didn't like was the huge CO powers, but the style of gameplay and that was excellent.

Check out impressions by my good friend and fellow writer, JSnake!

We tested the online after he wrote that... good stuff.

:)
Sounds like a great game!
By the way, did you get Endless Ocean as well? If so, how is it?
I didn't get Endless Ocean, but fellow writer StormCommander did. He's been playing it for a while, says it's a decent game. Review will probably be posted on Thursday or something.

I guess I'll ask him my questions!
By the way, I doubt you would have liked it. IGN said it was like Pokemon Snap.

:p

I thought I made it clear... the only reason I disliked Snap was because it was on rails.
