Just One More "Greetings" To Fill The Topic

Ahh, probably should have posted in here first but I ended up throwing myself into the Re-Tail topic.

Hello everyone!
Ah, my name is Emma and my town's name is Harmony.
I really like games where you can immerse yourself into the world, be it through appearance or simply the name of the character. (Thus the name Emma as mayor)
Town name-wise, the name was originally suggested to me by a friend years ago after acquiring ACWW. I liked the musical theme for a town name and now I tend to do a cycle between "Harmony" and "Melody".

My first Animal Crossing game was ACWW, second being ACCF and now third being ACNL.
Initially though, I didn't think I'd enjoy the AC series at all. It was a really popular DS game at my elementary school and all of my friends were busy using terms of Bells instead of dollars and making jokes about Resetti. I just bought the game to be one of the popular kids, ahaha. OTL

I swore when I bought it, I probably wouldn't like it and just wasted a birthday present but I ended up going crazy over it and wasting a whole ton of trees to print out the preview pages of the ACWW game guide.
Now here I am with my copy of ACNL for the 3DS, spending hours of my life to catch bugs on an island to sell for in-game currency and peeking into AC forums to trade. Life is funny indeed.

Ah, but I do really enjoy AC and I can't wait to meet other people and browse the Re-tail forums looking for flowers to help me get into the Hybrid business.

This is my first time being an active part in forums though... Before I would just ghost about and read. I hope I'm posting properly. >.<"

Welcome! I'm Beth and I'm new here too. I also started with ACWW in elementary school. I was that kid who discovered it and made all the other kids in school start playing too. x)
I never really wanted to join a forum or anything either until I needed to trade for something. Now I really like it here, haha. I always have free hybrids for giveaway so you're free to take some if I have any that you might want.

Welcome to the forums. I have been on for more than a year, and it's a gr8 community. Thanks to it I've met friends I never thought I'd meet. Currently I am on the 2nd month of a 5 month hiatus (because school is a witch with a b in front ) and this is one of my rare visits since I started. But I want it to be over so much, I love this place. And you will too.

Welcome! I started on AC with WW too -- but I never knew anyone around me who played! I'm not sure how I ended up picking up a copy, to be honest. But me and my sister would always bother Resetti and talk about our 'achievements' (we never did pay off our entire house in WW... how sad) so I had that at least haha. Now here I am, addicted to it once again. (I literally just spent an hour designing an outfit for my one character because none of the QR codes I found were satisfactory, I swear I wouldn't do that for any other game.) I hope you enjoy your time on the forums!

Hahaha, sounds like a familiar tale. Resetti was always a bit of a pain in WW.... If the battery runs out, there he is at your doorstep, telling you to use a slide meter to show him how sorry you are. I think the game was aiming to teach kids how to lie. XD

My name is Grace, mayor of Starfall. My first AC game was WW. I was 7 when I got it, I'm 15 now, so I played the game from that point to when ACNL came out! I hated AC when I first started playing. My dad bought it for me because he knew I liked animals, but since I was so young I couldn't exactly figure out how things went on that game. cx But over time, I figured it out eventually~! And now I'm a hooked fan and always will be.
