Katrina lucky/unlucky predictions

I have 2 characters on my island but 2 are just for collecting so I don't do much with them. The other day I got to the idea to try and use the extra characters to help get the zodiac items from Katrina(one the rare occasion she even gives me bad luck she always sends me the non zodiac items). So she gave my main character good luck with belongings, ok. Then she gave my other 2 characters the exact same prediction. Is this normal? Do all characters always get the same prediction from her? Thanks

From what I remember when I had the same idea, you get different fortunes for each player character (but of course they can be the same sometimes). However, it seems like whenever Katrina gives you the zodiac items, she always gives you one that she has not given you before.

I do wonder though if you can "trick" her into giving new zodiac items faster by having all the characters catalog any new zodiac figurines before getting their fortunes told. I tried this with Gulliver but it doesn't seem to work. For example, I had my main character catalog an item that my other character received first, but later I ended up getting that item from Gulliver before getting all the possible items from him so I guess Gulliver will give you something different each time no matter what (until you he gives you all the possible items), unlike Wisp.
