Hi everyone,

So I just finished filling in my first 3 plots in order to upgrade residence services. First, can I continue at this point to search for more villagers?

Now I saw a helpful looking video that explains a method to kick out villagers without time travel, but it is kind of confusing at the same time. I was hoping that someone could clarify the method mentioned here. I only managed to get 1 out of 3 villagers that I wanted from island hopping, so I want to get rid of 2. In what state does my empty plot need to be in? When should I put down another plot? And from the video, how can I trigger one of those thought bubbles to appear?

Thank you for the help ;)

First if all 5 plots are filled so far then you will need another slot to go search for more villagers otherwise they won't appear on the mystery islands. Secondly i don't know if you can move out villagers if all the slots aren't filled i do know it would probably be easier if they are. As for the method it works for both time traveling and if you don't basically after a certain number of days say like 10 or something a villager may want to move out first check and see that they want to to move out sometimes they may want to give you something if they are saying they want to move out and it's a villager you don't want to move out one you want to keep close the game without saving and then just completely ignore that villager the rest of the day or if you time travel you can skip to the next day. The next day there is a high chance the thought bubble has moved to a different villager if it's one you want to move out then you can just tell them to move out if not just repeat the process from before until it's a villager you want to move out.

Ok. That explains why I didn't see any villagers while island hopping the other night. I had thought before that you don't see any at nightime! lol:ROFLMAO: Anyway, so you are saying that once I have 10 villagers (all plots are filled) it will be easier for me to kick out villagers? And how do I put down a new plot? When I put down a plot, do I then go island hopping, visit someone else's island and such to search for the villager I want, then the next day will they move into my island?

In my opinion it would probably easier to kick out if you have all 10 spots filled and to get more plots you got to go to tom nook and talk to him about it under like infastructure i believe and yeah after you get a new plot you can go island hopping for new villagers or find someone who has a villager in boxes and then you can talk to that villager and get them to move to your town they will show up the next day or get a villager from the campsite although if you haven't created the campsite yet when yo do you will have to take whatever the first villager that shows up in it there's no way around that
