King Dedede

Yep, that's right. King Dedede is now a playable character.
Kirby's big boss man will be among the heavy characters, i.e. Bowser, DK.
He'll also have his Massive Wooden Mallet.

I'm a little surprised he isn't a Subspcae boss however this gives a better chance for Ganondorf to get into Brawl as a playable character.

Yeah, but even if he's not going to be a boss, I'm sure he'll have some role in Story... obviously.
By which I mean a Boss-like state. Not quite Petey, but is in charge of a certain momrnt in the story.

I wouldn't doubt that Ganondorf will be a playable character, especially now with Dedede. How many characters are in brawl for the Kirby franchise? 3. How many so far are in brawl for Zelda? 2. I would seriously doubt they would take Ganondorf out and not have the main villan from Zelda as a playable character in Brawl, especially now that he can be decloned.

But staying on topic, I think Dedede's a great addition

Ganondorf was the most requested Zelda character, and I think the 5th most requested character period... so he's coming back.

Omg, the way he walked so slow in Twilight Princess, made him seem even more godly. Now I really want to see him in brawl :lol: And yeah, i agree about windwaker too, just wasn't the same ganondorf :/


But back on topic, i also think Dedede's confirmation could increase a lot of characters chances. Although he was one of the most wanted characters, he still makes that franchise 3 characters so my guess is he will be adding even more to other franchises. And personally, i'm hoping for Ridley

Ridley is MASSIVE compared to other characters, and probably won't be playable, however I belive there's a chance of him being an AT or a Subspace boss.

He was semi-small in melee's opening video.

Yea, but that put that into perspective when he was put into a stage. He's massive, trust me.
