I have Merry!

This is my first time selling villagers, so how much would you want for Merry? I've looked up how much a villager like her would sell for, how popular she is, etc. so I have a general idea, but I'd like to know how many bells you'd be willing to buy her for.

Also, does a villager have to have told me they'd like to leave for me to be able to sell them? If so, Merry hasn't mentioned anything about leaving so would it still be possible for you to visit and talk her into leaving? I'm new to this, as you can probably tell.
