Languages?

Specifically for the European version, I am guessing that HHD will run in the same languages as New Leaf? I'm not aware of all the different languages that the European New Leaf runs in, but I'm fairly sure that the EU 3DS runs in many languages, including Swedish which I am interested in. I'm not sure if New Leaf runs in Swedish or if new languages will be added to Happy Home Designer. Can anyone confirm anything?

I can't confirm, but if the 3DS has Swedish then the game should be.

The languages available on the 3DS are separate from those on the games themselves; they're completely different entities. The languages are scripted separately into said game's files.

I can't confirm anything myself, but if NL didn't have many language options, it would be a stretch for HHD.

Unfortunately New Leaf isn?t translated in swedish, and I can?t even choose swedish in the system settings of my EU 3DS. So I don`t think that HHD will be translated in swedish.

If Dutch isn't in New Leaf, then I doubt Swedish is... Usually game developers go with the EFISG acronym : English, French, Italian, Spanish, German. And then, if the game is published in East Asia, you can add Japanese to the bunch and maybe Korean (New Leaf was developed in Japanese but Korea had its version translated). If the developers are aiming at a younger crowd, they may also include a Portuguese and a Dutch version of the game. I know that Tomodachi Life on the 3DS will get a Dutch translation in the coming weeks if it's not already available. New Leaf had no Dutch version and (I'm nearly 100% postive) no Portuguese version either, but I wouldn't be surprised Nintendo would add these two language in the next chapter of the serie.
