Layer problem...

Every time I add a new layer to my sigs in GIMP, and try to use brushes on it, normally it would work fine, the brushwork would show up and everything...

But now, when I add a single new layer, the brushes I use don't even show up.

You might have the transparency of the layer at 0, the transparency of the brush at 0, or you may have the layer hidden (by clicking the eye icon in the layers menu box thingy).
