and if you skip to 1:46 theres a image of king boo in mario kart 8! who else do you think will be in the pack? personally, i want bowser jr, or funky kong.

I doubt it's for MK8, if anything it'll be for MK9.

The reason I don't think it's for MK8 is because Wii U is basically dead now. Not only that but the screen is completely different to MK8 (ie; shows 2 item slots when MK8 only has one), so chances are it's probably for MK9 which will be on the NS.
But in saying that, Nintendo has said that the games showed in the trailer are not actual "official" NS games (though we all know a MK game will come to it anyway). I don't really care though because MK is boring lol.

what we saw from the video is either mk8 port for the nintendo switch with extra content/ minimum changes or mk9

In all honesty, let's not haste ourselves assuming where King Boo or any other new character will appear in the Mario kart franchise. Let's all be patient like we always been, enjoy life, play the games we have for now, and enjoy it until the next Nintendo Direct update or the next commercial they put up later on.

... Why else would they show him in the preview? They could have shown anyone and they chose to show King Boo. You can also clearly see the changes to the items in the corner. Why would they change that for a commercial only?
