Pokémon Least favorite villainous team

Which villainous team is your least favorite and why?

I don't like Team Flare that much. Not only look their dumb with those neon red/orange outfits, I also find the story about them lame. I mean, I did enjoy playing X/Y, but I wish the games would have had a different villain team or alternative Team Flare being more... Evil?

Team Galactic is also kinda lame.

Team Yell.

Do they really think that a bunch of edgy fanboys and fangirls are going to make an interesting evil team? Hopefully they make an interesting storyline with them, because they could end up being like Team Skull, not really "evil", just kind of a nuisance.

Least fav, definitely the Skull people. Boring, monotonous and trying to be "punk" when all they do is bothering you with the repetitive appearance... No thanks. Games weren't that awesome either.

Team Rocket to be honest... I just don’t care for them and I think they’re overused in both the games and Pokemon anime. They need to be left behind and forgotten about, imo... lol

I agree with Team Flare. I didn't really like their orange suits, as they were hideously ugly. Plus, the stance poses were really weird. Also not too impressed with this team Yell, but we'll see what the story is on them. Truth be told though, I don't like any of the villainous teams. They are all evil. ):<

Team Yell, they just look like a purple Team Skull. I was honestly thinking of like a European-styled team but...okay. :/

Team Flare. I didn't mind X/Y that much (storywise/gameplaywise), but team Flare were just boring. From their names, to their dress style and ambitions everything about them was bland. I don't know much about team Yell yet, so I'm not sure if it would be fair to make a solid judgment on them, but they do look too similar to team Skull.

As for Team Rocket, I agree they are soo overused in the anime/movies. Besides Ash losing 98% of the time, Team Rocket was another reason I couldn't enjoy the anime/movies and I just wouldn't bother revisiting them. I wish the anime was more like origins/generations or the manga, but that's a whole other seperate rant and more of wishful thinking. I doubt it'll ever happen.

While I am fond of Lysandre to a point, appreciate his aspirations, and think other aspects of the team like Xerosic are neat, I think I'm going to have to say that Team Flare is my least favorite villainous team. The bulk of the team, the grunts, are just bland and the notion of Team Flare members having to be rich and pay admission fees feels like it undermines any point Lysandre had. Malva being a member of Team Flare and that not being revealed until you encountered her in the Elite Four, after the team was mostly defeated and their leader was apparently dead, felt like a gigantic wasted opportunity. But then, a lot of things about Generation 6 felt like wasted opportunities, like the Elite Four not scaling their levels upon rematch in X & Y, no Battle Frontier in ORAS, and no Pok?mon Z being released and instead stuffing Zygarde and its new forms into Sun & Moon. Team Flare could've been one of my favorites due to Lysandre, but the end result we got is not great.

Team Magma is probably second since I far prefer Team Aqua and their ambitions. Team Magma isn't bad, they're just the most forgettable of the bunch for me.

Agree with xRileyx and Kuriboh that Team Rocket is overdone. I don't even watch the anime, stopped during the Johto part years and years ago when that was the current season of the anime on television. Nonetheless, like much of Generation 1, Team Rocket has been overexposed at this point and while I like the simplicity of their being organized crime gang compared to the other teams' goals, they're not particularly exciting or anything.

Team Yell looks uninspired and like they're just a knock off of Team Skull thus far to me, but I'm not going to say they're bad until Sword & Shield come out and we can experience them for ourselves.

Yep, agreed. Team Flare grants love for fashion is... unique? But still kinda eh! Their leader is a badass though!
Team Yell seems too similar to team skull. I know it's kind of early to tell but so far they don't seem like they'll bring any interest or involvement into the main story other than being annoying lunatics.

I find it interesting that Team Yell is winning when we've not seen much of them yet but! I guess I can see why people would dislike them just based off of what we have seen. Personally, I'm indifferent to them for now.

I voted for Team Flare, though. They're the one team I always forget about. I've played X within the past month and couldn't tell you what their motivations are other than to 'be evil'. I also find their designs to just be a tad boring.

Followed by Flare would be Rocket for me tbh. I get that they were Doing It First or whatever so it's excusable for why they're kinda bland and overused, but I just don't know why I'd care about them when there's more interesting teams out there with more complex motivations.
