The good thing though about members like you is that they're more likely to sell collectibles since they have no desire of them, which allows collectibles to be recycled for future TBT generations

No, it always took a while. I didn't get my full welcome bells, because I posted what I needed and ditched the site for some months. I came back too late, and never got the full amount.
It depends on how much you're posting if I recall correctly, so if you posted a ton the first day you joined, you might have gotten them very quickly.

This happened to me. I was super stoked and posted A LOT and I earned about 800 welcome bells I think
