The other night, I was hurriedly trying to complete my work on Cypress. I was chatting with my villagers, and then I came across Winnie. She told me that she could tell that Gracie was in town! Fortunately, it wasn't too late to see her, so I went over to the plaza. My theme this time was "fun and flashy"! It took some feverish minutes, but in the end, on my last chance, Gracie let me pass. Now I'm two checks away before unlocking T&T Emporium! 
My other news was that, first of all, for the third time, Rizzo was sick. But by then, he was pretty much fully recovered, and I hope he won't be sick again for a while longer.
Next, I had bought a proper painting at Redd's Gallery. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I already had one, so I had pretty much wasted about 4,000 Bells. I've earned them back, though.
And, finally, yesterday Booker informed me that Gulliver was washed up on my "secret beach"! I found him and, once he had given me the clues, I knew the answer was Kenya. Today he gave me my gift.
