Little amiibo card request!

Hey everyone, as some of you might know, series 2 of amiibo cards is releasing november 20th here in Europe.
There is one specific card that i really want in this series, it is number 152: Wendy.
So my question is, could you please keep an eye out for me?
I don't know if buying 20 packs only to get Wendy is the way to go. So i decided to ask here first!

I have some cards to trade, but not too many. I know that this makes the chance of getting Wendy really small, but it can not hurt to try right?

Aww hang in there! I actually wish it released later here. I can't really afford purchasing tons of packs at the moment (Falco amiibo and Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo are robbing my funds ;v; ).

good luck!! I'd love to help but sadly I don't even think there is a release date here yet... I suggest trying the Reddit sub "AmiiboSwap" there are tons of great people on there, I'm sure someone will have her c:

It will release somewhere in january for NA i believe and thanks! Will definitely check it out!

You can always try ebay - of course that's if you really want her and have difficulty getting her. I've seen English/EU cards go for about ?1.50 - ?2

I understand the request (I had Wendy in accf & liked her) - & I would look out for her for you - if I had the cards - I'm in the UK and can find nowhere to order them except from Game? And Game don't say on site when they are released, just that you can preorder.

Am I missing something? I know the cards are backdated to Jan for the US - but when are they supposed to release in the UK - is it different from mainland Europe? All so frustrating! Given its Nov 19th, I'd have thought I'd see more than just single packs orderable from Game at ?4.99 each, ouch.

Buying 20 packs would def not guarantee you Wendy, you could be lucky, but best to trade for her after the cards released.

Or buy the Japanese series 2 cards which are out. I managed to collect 191/200 series 2 Amiibo cards from 37 packs. For each pack I payed $1.95.

It is still scheduled for tomorrow in the UK too but maybe the shipment is a bit late. Has happened a LOT with figures here in the netherlands.

Thanks for the info that the cards are (probably) not released today in the UK.
I have ac amiibo figurines on order with Amazon, email from them (2am) that the order is delayed - ac festival (incl Isabelle & Digby) delayed to the 24th Nov (tho on site it says 26th Nov) & the other figurines I was told Dec, but no date specified.
Not sure if this is for everyone who ordered via Amazon nor whether it is a delay across all sites in the UK.

These delays/difficulty in getting cards/amiibos' I find very off putting, takes all the enjoyment out of it for me.

As to getting cards from Japan - well its possible, but a lot more expensive than the equivalent of $1.95 per pack to get them into the UK. And it shouldn't be necessary they are supposed to be available here - and hopefully will be, eventually.
