Little cute things I've noticed~♪

None of these are particularly features or anything, just small details that I thought are cute. Idk if anyone else has noticed these but I'll just put them here anyway along with any thought I have on a few things~

Post here if you have seen any other small cute things that just make you adore this game even more!

At 5:21 during the direct in the top right corner there is something flying around in the distance and it looks....weird? idk what it is, maybe someone else can make a guess

If you look closely this little bee has some pollen attached to it. Working hard to crossbreed those flowers for you XD

Sea salt ice cream anyone? (sorry kingdom hearts fan here!)

Tom Nook is living that CEO lifestyle with that mini office golf set!

The Nook Miles icon that appears at the top right of your screen is actually like a little credit card. You can see the chip in the bottom right corner and the arrow for which way to insert it on the top left

Fish can be presented in all sort of containers~ aquariums, little plastic containers and even open tubs!

When you upgrade Resident Services into the Town Hall, the noticeboard gets a few little aesthetic upgrades too with some cute little flower shaped pins!

Quite a few different looking tools, themed tool sets maybe?

A possible use for wasp nests? Creating beehives?

Black roses confirmed!

I know we have seen a few piles of leaves on fire before but this one has the added extra of some toasting marshmallows, yummy!

Normal trees on tier 2 confirmed?! maybe?

Nice finds! I've not seen a lot of these before actually!
I love the little details that are being put on Switch games. It just makes the game feel really homely and immersive. I really can't wait.

One thing I've noticed is this:



This single lone tree in the museum is different to all the others: the bark is darker, and the leaves are different. There's a normal tree in the same room as this (top-right corner) so I wonder if we can have more than 2 tree species.

regarding the fish containers wasnt it the same in new leaf? i thought different types of fish and bugs would be displayed in diff containers. smaller fish would be in a fish bowl, for example.

Yes, but not to the same extent and they looked different. If I recall correctly, only goldfish + popeyed goldfish had the fishbowl thing.

Like this? Before I think it was just to do with size. This time it seems to vary a lot with the soft shelled turtle even getting an open tub

and omg..... i just realised something a touch morbid....

The soft shelled turtle and crab tubs were from the scene with a villager putting a Chinese restaurant room together, they were most likely there to be cooked! (although of course not really this is animal crossing XD )

I love the bug and fish tanks in this game. I always wanted to put fish in my house, but hated how they look in the tank. In this game the tanks actually look nice and I will actually display them in my house.

I love the bug and fish tanks in this game. I always wanted to put fish in my house, but hated how they look in the tank. In this game the tanks actually look nice and I will actually display them in my house.

I have to agree I never really wanted to display them in my house as they looked out of place and kind of ugly but not anymore!
Found two kinds of bug cages so far, the wooden one being my favourite~

Something else I noticed, Dodo merch? I'm pretty sure this players sunglasses have Dodos on the lenses?

All the little tiny details are so cool! I really love the little bee pollen. I'm not sure I would have ever noticed that on my own.

Jacob's ladders looking very beautiful in New Horizons but I do wonder what would constitute a "perfect island", weeds certainly feel a lot more aesthetically pleasing and less like something to remove than before so I would be kind of sad if I had to pull them all up to get a "perfect island"

I’m so excited for the different shapes of tools! It’ll be fun to make more than one version of each tool so that I can make it look cute with my outfits. ^^ It’ll be like another accessory! Also, toasting marshmallows is so nostalgic to me from all of the camping that I did as a kid ;~; and the bees... THE BEES!!
