My island is pretty heavily under construction atm. There are some items I'm waiting for in the mail, and quite a bit of straight-up empty areas. The theme I'm going for is "small beach town/ tourist trap."

My main concern before moving forward on the empty areas is that most of my island is VERY flat. I'm considering elevating the four eastern villager homes to create a cliff-beach area, but I can't quite picture if I'd like it or not. And since that'll be costly, I thought I'd ask for advice here. I definitely want the gardens in the middle to stay on the first level, but other than that I'm looking for suggestions on which areas to elevate.

Lastly, I'm actually pretty proud of the interior design on my home, so that's worth taking a look at.

I love the entrance, it's very tourist-y. Definitely add more items to the beach and the area with the grill. The area with the campfire could also use some sort of grill. I love the area focused design. I'd say on east beach add stuff you get from redeeming nook miles such as a silo. You could do a better job of matching bridges and inclined to make them the same style that suits your island. I think the blue steel goes well with your island theme. Also matching paths or using the kiosk in abel sisters to use a more customizable path or you could also add edging to your paths. The campsite area seems a bit messy. You should replace the pot over the burner with a campfire. Also if you add small items add them to tables instead of the ground. I love the bamboo//spa area on top. I think it would be cool if you added a stall with some small spa products. Clear up the beached stingrays on your northwest beach!!! I love the restaurant, but I think again you should add a stall. I love your house and my favorite part of the island is the way you decorated in front of the villagers houses!!!

I have not been on for a while. XD Thank you so much for digging through old threads to visit my island and leaving feedback. That's really fantastic of you, seriously.

I'm happy that the touristy-y theme is showing through! I'm also happy you like the villager neighborhood and my home, which is probably the parts I'm most in love with myself.

I think the thing your comment reminds me of the most is that the items I would really like to put places just DON'T EXIST. Which is frustrating, lol. (I also don't like custom paths because it removes the shoe sound, even though I agree they look cleaner with the edges.)

Probably the most helpful part is thinking about redoing my bridges and ramps... I'll give that some thought. I'd ask you some questions, but I really doubt you remember my island at all after so long, so instead, I'll thank you again! Seriously, thank you.

I totally remember your island! If you have any questions just let me know 🥰
Yay! Okay, my main concern is that it's too flat. Is it too flat?

My second question is whether you have any ideas for specific items for the spa/ mountain area? I want it to continue to feel pretty rustic, so I don't want to start throwing in a TON of rattan stuff or anything. Although I think I will add one of the towel baskets, now that I think of it.

OMG i'm soo sorry it's like a month later lol. I just visited ur island again and I don't think it's too flat. Pretty much the whole upper portion of your island is elevated which is kinda how mine is too lol. I think a towel basket and an old-fashioned washboard would look awesome on your island. I also think you should add more stuff to your elevations because they seem pretty dead atm. I would appreciate it if you reviewed my island too!!! I'm going for a witchy // cottagecore island and it's under wayyy more construction than yours is rn lol. I finished the river and the inclines and am still figuring out what items I could use for my theme!!! I would appreciate your feedback thank you!!!! DA: 7061-6349-5826
