Looking for new friends for my new town! UK ideally, but not mandatory

I started a new town a few weeks ago and I'm looking to find people I can play with online. I'm free most evenings and often I'm up late as well, so I'm open to playing with US players too who are in a different time zone. My main goals are to get as many player badges as possible, so if you're aiming for that too, we can hopefully help each other out. My 3DS FC is in my profile, and I'm more than happy to best friend people in-game so we can chat if we both happen to be online at the same time.
