Wow. The season finale of Lost is probably the best 2 hours of the entire year. I never got bored and never could quite guess what was going on.

*Major Spoiler Alert*

I can't belive Charlie died! He has been my favorite character for the entire show. Sad to see him go without much of a fight. And the flashforwards? It seems to me that not everybody got off the island. Now the only question is, how is the show going to continue for 3 more seasons? They called a boat and contacted Penny, so rescuse should be coming very soon. There are still many unanswered questions, but that doesn't bother me. I've never been one of the people demanding answers from Lost. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10.
What are your thoughts on the show and how it can continue?

Well, we know kate and jack make it off... and we can assume one other did as well (whoever the funeral was for).

i'm guessing that was juliette... she wanted to go back really badly in past episodes, but ben wouldn't let her... so when the opportunity was there, she would. that would also explain why kate didn't go to her funeral (she was jealous that jack liked her more).

I read someone's theory online about how Jacob is actually the future Jack... lemme post it, it was quite interesting.

The future doesn

yeah.. that is... interesting.

But, because it was a flash forward, why was jack saying stuff like "bring my dad down here, and if he's drunker then I am you can fire me" isn't his dad dead? Maybe he was just drunk, or he was going crazy... or something. I dunno.

I read some of those theories, and post one every now and then...
A real popular idea that was posted there partway thru this season was that there's time travel going on... that the island is like 15 yrs. behind the real world... that it is stuck there.

It's like an alternate dimension, both it and the real world coexisting at the same time at one point. But, the whole point of the button they had to push every 108 mins. was to take the island dimension back to the starting point, whereas the outside world keeps going on. so after a month, the real world has aged a month, and the island has aged somewhere between 0 and 108 minutes.

Therefore, one could technically go back to the real world and sorta prevent stuff from happening - because if they are able to communicate with the outside somehow, they know what's going to happen, and can change that.

It's really confusing... I don't even completely understand it.
