Luckiest Villager Hunts?

I bring this up because I went villager hunting this morning and got the exact villager I wanted in less than 10 NMT's.

Once I went on a mystery island to look for resources, without villager hunting in mind. I ended up on a bamboo island, but I did find Butch. Guess I had an open plot or something. Anyway, I invited him.
I was also looking for Murphy once and found him on the first mystery island. It was very lucky, but it kind of took the fun out of villager hunting.
There was also this time I found Fuchsia in 5 NMT's when I was looking for a sisterly villager.
And finally, this morning I found Frita in 8 NMT's. Additionally, my brother found Raymond in 9 NMT's one time.

When I last restarted my island, over 14 months ago, as soon as the first camper moved in town, I built a new house lot and went back to Mysterious Island hunting with a few tickets. I don't especially like the grind, so I usually settle for a character I find acceptable. On my 3rd ticket, there she was, Olive, my all-time favorite villager.

I wasn't looking for this villager in particular on this villager hunt, but when I was trying to fill my final housing plot on my main island, on the second NMT I used I ended up finding one of my favorite villagers that was added in New Leaf, which was Katt. I didn't waste any time inviting her over to my town and I still have her to this day. On my secondary island I also ended up finding my second favorite villager overall, Rizzo, in less than 10 NMTs, but I wasn't hunting for him as I didn't want to have any of the same villagers between my two towns. Even if I did, I already have his Amiibo card, though I guess finding him the way I did would've at least saved me a bit of time and materials. That all being said, I couldn't just leave him behind so now I have Rizzo in both of my towns.

I found Kyle on my 7th ticket recently. I have his amiibo, but it was nice to skip the process of inviting him to my town. I don't really villager. I just had an empty plot at the time, and I wanted to fill it with any popular villager so I wouldn't have to void them

I went villager hunting awhile ago with 17 tickets hoping maybe to find a dreamy or at least a villager I like and could void/gift later, and ended up getting Julian on the 9th ticket. Probably the luckiest I've ever gotten villager hunting and I couldn't be happier.

The only time I got lucky on a villager hunt was when I was looking for Diana and found her after roughly fifteen tickets or so. Other than that I actually don't villager hunt anymore as I'm too impatient and instead I hunt for specific villagers amiibo's on eBay instead.

i’d consider any villager hunting session where i found a dream villager (margie, sprinkle, whitney, etc) a lucky one, but i guess my luckiest hunts were when i found beau after 7 nmts and, more recently, lolly (who i’ve been looking for since the game’s release) after 3 nmts.

congrats on finding frita this morning! i hope you’ll enjoy having her.

Melba was my first ticket. She wasn't my favorite at the time, but soon after she moved in she became my favorite. Oh, Tangy was also my first ticket.

Others are Cyrano (one of my all-time favorites) in 7 tickets, Lucky in 12, and Marina in 5 and 10 tickets (during the same hunt; I turned her down the first time, but then I decided to take her the second time).

Last January I remember spending all of my nook miles on nook miles tickets, I could only afford 20ish tickets, I went villager hunting for Lily, I say out loud, "Probably not gonna find Lily, Why would I?" I can't remember who I found on my first ticket but then on my second ticket, I see some kind of green-ish blue-ish animal, I think "Who could this be?" why it's Lily of course! On my second Ticket! I got my(probably) favorite villager a few days before her birthday so I could celebrate it. Later in August I got Lily's amiibo card so I can get Lily whenever I want.

I got Sherb thinking he was always in the series and that I had just managed to never see him before, he was my first lazy to move in on my island! I let him leave a while ago though!

When I first reset and started Peachy, I went villager hunting for Judy and found her in 8 tickets. I would say that is my best and luckiest hunt still.

When a villager moved out i knew i had a day to find a villager i wanted or risk a character i dont want, i had 20nmt ready but on my second try of going to nook islands i found Tia.

ive never had tia before but i absolutely love her! One of the best villager Hunts ive done! And her and my beloved coco are great friends
