Luigi's Mansion 3 is coming out on October 31th, 2019!

So, what do you think? Are you excited for this game? And are you going to play it?

Luigi is one of my favorite Nintendo characters and I loved Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube,
even if I was never able to completed that game. Dark Moon for the 3DS was kinda ok, I didn't
finished this one either, howver I also didn't enjoy it so much as the CG title. Overall, I'm very
excited for the Switch title and the gameplay we saw so far looked pretty good in my opinion.
(Also like the fact that it's coming out on Halloween.)

I’m excited beyond belief. I grew up on the GameCube, and titles like Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi’s Mansion formed some of my strongest memories of gaming as a kid. I can’t believe I get to continue that adventure as an adult with this new release! :D

I never played LM for the gamecube but I really enjoyed Dark Moon. Like you, I never finished it. I’m pretty excited for this game though!

I am excited Despite not having played a single Luigi's mansion game yet. Lol.

I can't freaking wait! I hope they do away w/ the mission-based gameplay of Dark Moon though...I prefer the free-roaming of the first game. Either way though, I'm getting it no matter what!

YES OUR FAVORITE GREEN BOI GETS ANOTHER CHANCE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

I've had a soft spot for Luigi's Mansion since I first saw ads for Dark Moon back in 2012. I've played both that one and the one on the Gamecube, and very much enjoyed them. I do hope that the play style is similar to the original, though I think both worked out nicely in their own style.

Also I agree with Psydye, getting this game immediately is a must. I got Dark Moon on launch day, and I'll likely get this one on its launch day :D

I'm so excited for this! I don't even care which game it's based on or if it's entirely new, as I loved both games! All I'm hoping for is a working version of the scarescraper, as the mode is super buggy online. You can literally get stuck on a floor because the game bugged out and there's no way to complete the objective, ex. a missing key so you cannot make any progress. Then there's also the problem of 3DS netplay being very unstable, Switch isn't perfect either but it should be better at least.

Or just give us some other online mode, we really need more online games

I agree, the Scarescraper is pretty much the only thing I played in Dark Moon. One time I did find a key in a room that wasn't labeled with one when there was nothing in the key room. But that was the only time my brother and I escaped that glitch.

It would be fun if you could co-op the story with a friend. It would be cool to fight giant ghost bosses together.

I am personally really excited for this game. AC 2019 definitely took a lot of this game's attention, but I think this game is definitely going to be worth checking out. I enjoyed Dark Moon, so I look forward to seeing what they are able to do with the Switch.

Also once the game comes out, perhaps someone could start a Scarescraper (or whatever the online mode is called) thread if enough people are interested. Playing with randoms can be its own special brand of horror, so it would be nice if we were able to team up with each other.

I'll ask for this game right away when it comes out.

I loved Dark Moon, and I'm sure this game will improve in all aspects, but I'm not feeling the colors from the trailer. Everything seemed bland and washed out, and really bright. Hopefully the visuals will improve by the time it's released.

i absolutely loved the original luigi's mansion and was so surprised to see the announcement of a 3rd one! that game (and super mario sunshine + the other big gamecube games around that time) was such a big part of my childhood. me and my brother were super disappointed by dark moon, so i'm really happy to see a new (and hopefully much better) addition :')

I can't wait for this (and the 3DS remake of the original actually!! Counting the days lol). Next to AC this is the switch game I'm most looking forward to right now and I really hope it doesn't use the 'mission' formula from Dark Moon.

I just hope it doesn't use the mission system from Dark Moon. Dark Moon wasn't bad, but the mission system really held it back for me...

I'm not sure how I feel about Luigi's Mansion. : o I've had so many issues with navigating and finding my way / what to do in the first two games. The game really reminded me of Resident Evil 1 and Zero where you need to walk around, look for items, etc. - I could never get used to that, despite being interested in the whole mansion aesthetics. Though, I probably should give Luigi's Mansion another try. Not sure. : c
